Developing Relationships to Expand Your Business PDF Print E-mail

Often the simplest things that will build our businesses are often over looked by business owners and employees.

We fill our schedules full of to do lists and move on to the next person or next task at hand and miss the precious moment to touch someone’s life in a heart felt way. In order to grow your business we need to develop relationships with our prospects and customers, which is critical for long term business success. As a Christian in business it is not only critical but it is our mission and calling from God to develop and grow relationships with others.

We have been made Kings and Priests unto God, yet we sometimes forget to operate in that priestly role of loving and ministering to others at every opportunity. We are the extension of the church organization out in the marketplace, so we are the only church this world may ever see. So let’s build relationships with our prospects and customers; it does not matter how long it takes as long as you reach out in love and get to know the other person.

Harvey Mackay is one of my mentors and he has perfected this down to a science in building a loyal customer following. He calls it the Mackay 66, you can see it at http://www.harveymackay.com/pdfs/mackay66.pdf. The list he builds for each customer and how he uses it has made him very wealthy and it will help you become wealthy as well. Once we love others the way Christ asked us to love, we will not only become massively successful in business; we will also be fulfilling the great commission. Start today to generate relationships that will last for eternity.
